The Fuzzy Button and the Glowing Screen

Once upon a time, in a cozy little room, lived a boy named Ben. Ben loved watching the big, glowing screen. It showed exciting cartoons with bright colours and loud noises. His favourite thing was to sit very still, his eyes wide, just watching.
All around Ben, toys lay scattered. There was a wooden train, a set of colourful blocks, and a fuzzy, blue button named Boo.

Boo the button usually loved being part of Ben’s games, stitched onto blankets that became superhero capes, or used as coins in imaginary shops. But lately, Ben only had eyes for the glowing screen.

One afternoon, as Ben sat mesmerized by a cartoon about talking trains, Boo the button began to feel… forgotten. He started to slowly unravel, his fuzzy edges losing their fluff. He felt himself becoming simpler and plainer, almost like the toys Ben never picked up anymore.
Ben, still glued to the screen, didn't notice. Boo unravelled further, until a long, blue thread stretched sadly across the rug. Then, the colours on the glowing screen started to fade, becoming grey and dull, like an old, unloved photo.
Suddenly, the picture on the screen lost all of its colours! Ben blinked. He looked around the room, confused. He saw the train, the blocks, and… oh! A long, sad blue thread leading to Boo the button.

Ben picked up the thread, feeling a little sorry he hadn't played with his toys in so long.
Ben carefully wound the thread back around Boo, making him fuzzy again. Then he began to play. First, Boo was a special passenger on the train, then he was hidden inside the block tower, waiting to be rescued.

As Ben played, the colours on the screen slowly came back, a little brighter than before. Ben smiled, and the glowing screen showed only his happy, playing face.
